There is no direct competition. With an approved process patent, and being first to the market it is believed dTechs will be the lone supplier of this technology. There is a fiscal and societal diligence for Utilities to investigate and recover losses. They are emboldened by heightening pressures for energy conservation and responsible electrical consumption to act according. There is transformer metering being developed by a small number of companies, however, the large (20-25) times cost for the Utilities to implement makes it extremely prohibitive.
